Season Ticket Holders - Frequently Asked Questions:
What is your pricing structure?
In order to use our service, we charge our season ticket holders a flat monthly fee instead of a percentage based commission structure that’s standard in the industry. Our goal is to create visibility and transparency on what you’ll be charged and how much you’ll make with the tickets that you own.
You can see our pricing tier structure below.
Why do we have to transfer your tickets to us?
To prevent ticketing fraud and to guarantee the delivery of tickets to our purchasers, we require that season ticket holders transfer their tickets directly to us. We do not own these tickets or keep them for ourselves, in the event that our season ticket holders want to de-list their tickets or have them returned, we conduct those operations immediately.
Will I be able to get my tickets back?
Yes! There are three instances where you won’t be able to get your tickets back: 1. If they’ve already been sold 2. If you’ve transferred them to a friend or family member 3. If the event date has passed for that ticket
How do I get paid? How do payments work?
You get paid 100% of any ticket sales that have originated from your account. Once we’re paid by the marketplaces, we pay you directly to the bank account that you’ve provided to LocalArena Tix. You can track your payments directly in your account dashboard. Payments will typically land in your account in 21-28 business days.
Will I receive a form 1099-K?
Per IRS regulations that took effect Jan 1st, 2022, we are required to submit a 1099-K for anyone that sells more than $600 of tickets. We partner with Quickbooks to deliver 1099s directly to you. You will receive a secure W9 form directly through them.
What marketplaces do you sell on?
We list tickets directly with the following marketplaces on your behalf:

Can I transfer tickets to my friends or family?

How do you secure my data?

Why is LocalArena Tix switching to a tiered model?
We heard our customer’s feedback! In order to provide flexibility for customers who sell a limited quantity of tickets in a given year, we’re creating tiers for them to still use our service.
How do I know which tier is right for me?
Depending on how many tickets you choose to sell in a given year, you can fall into a specific tier. As you choose to sell more tickets, you are able to move up tiers, or if you choose not to sell certain tickets, you are able to downgrade tiers.
What happens if I sell more tickets than my current tier allows?
You will be unable to list additional tickets for sale.
How do I know how many tickets I have currently sold and listed for sale?
You can check your Reporting dashboard at any time for a live look at the number of tickets you’ve sold and listed for sale. We also will provide a live counter of that number in your Profile section, next to your current subscription tier.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan at any time?
Yes absolutely, you can update your subscription directly through your Stripe billing portal in your LocalArena Tix profile section. Your subscription will be prorated based on how much you’ve already paid that month. If you’re downgrading, your next invoice will be credited based on any overages paid.
What happens to my managed tickets once I downgrade?
At the time you downgrade, any tickets managed by LocalArena Tix will automatically update to being price controlled by you.
Will existing tickets I’ve listed be affected by this change?
No - any tickets that are currently for sale will not be affected. If any tickets are currently managed by LocalArena Tix, they will continue to be managed by LocalArena Tix.
